  • Knowing how to play within each hour in a club setting

• Playlist organization

• Crate digging

• DJ etiquette with event planners

• Building chemistry with other DJs and MCs

This class will focus on the prep work that goes into DJing. The conversation will be focused on the different types of events you may play, how to prepare for an event, and how to add flavor to your set lists. We'll then talk about working with other staff members at events, such as organizers, MCs, and other DJs.
